Fellow classmate Makoto Kino seems to be a lonely girl. Her mother is always away with her work as a detective. Her father runs the Kino Inn and requires her aid constantly. The girl seems to have no time to herself, and there is rumors that she is starting to dislike her lot in life. Things get worse when it's found that she's a target for the serial kidnapper....
Rhiannon or Michael can change things for her in a good way, by making the major source of the Justice Social Link through her and becoming her friend. Or, they can do nothing, and she is found later dead on a wire. Time is indeed short.
